19 Inducted Into Honor Society At South Side
Nineteen students were inducted into the South Side High School chapter of the Honor Society last Friday morning at an impressive ceremony in the school auditorium. Wallace Smith, president of the society, officiated at the induction, assisted by Miss Marjorie Horst-man and William Calvert. New stu-dents of the Honor Society are: Thomas H. Gibbs, Jr., 30 Vassar place; Miss Ruth Grimm, 89 South-ard avenue; Miss Virginia Hall, 154 Roxen road; Miss Patricia Henry, 147 Cedar avenue; Miss Jane Ho-gan, 105 Oxford road; Miss Ruth LaBounty, 120 Lincoln avenue; Miss Marjorie Ploger, 86 Jackson ave-nue; Miss Shirley Raynor, 34 Dart-mouth street; Chester Schubert, 50 Hollywood court; Pierre Teets, 117 Locust avenue; Richard Clurman, 26 Marlboro court; Miss Carolyn Cross, 33 Cambridge street; Miss Jane Davis, 36 Dogwood lane; Miss Hazel Longnecker, 205 DeMott ave-nue; John McGowan, 29 Williams street; Miss Mary Palmerton, 56 Vassar place; Miss Isabel Schroed-er, 15 Osborne place; Miss Joyce Walsh, 31 Locust avenue; and Miss Norma White, 101 Locust avenue..
