Ruth Hinners to Give Recital at McIntosh Studios
The Edith McIntosh School of Music has issued invitations to a piano recital to be given on Sunday, February 9, at 4:00 P. M. at The Music Center, 48 Hillside Avenue, by Miss Ruth Hinners, assisted by Erna Zobel Luetscher. Ruth is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank A. Hinners, 233 Raymond avenue, Rockville Centre, and has been a student at the school for the past five years. Ruth's achievement in piano is especially noteworthy inasmuch as she has participated at the same time in many activities at South Side High School, has held many positions of trust and responsibility and yet has carried on her study of music throughout her entire high school course. Her high scho-lastic average received recognition when she was valedictorian of her class upon graduation from junior high school and she has maintained this high record throughout her high school years. She has done outstanding work in piano under the tutelage of Erna Zobel Luet-scher as well as in all the theoreti-cal courses which are included in the curriculum of The Edith Mc-Intosh School of Music.
