Recently, Edith Mcintosh, Director of the Edith„McIntosh School
ol Music in RockvlUe Centre, and Marion BannermSh, head of her
Harp Studios-in Hempstead,^ completed another summer of travel
together.
Miss Mcintosh sailed on the Queen Elizabeth early in July and
spent the first half of the vnca-
tion in England al Ashford]

Mrs. Bonnerman followed "by Pan
Am, spent' sorne lime in London
with friends and joined her at
Ashford Chace later.
FHglU from London to Madrid
started the weeks of travel. In
Spain, stop-overs were made in
Granada, Cordoba, Seville and
Algeciras. After a stay on the
Hock of Gibraltar, they proceeded
to Tangier to begin a thirteen
day motor trip through Morocco,
Visiting Casablanca, Rabat,
Meknes and Marrakcch, they crossed the Alias- Mountains to
Taroudant, thence to Agodir and F
Returning by way nt Spain
and- Portugal, with atop-ovws in
Malaga and Estoril, they concluded
the trip with several days
at Punchttl in the Madeira Islands,
flying home from Lisbon.
in contrast to the weatlier at,
home, the travellers reported
con-iiderable rain in England, and
no extreme heat, as might have
been expected, in Spain, Portugal
or North Africa.
