Tokyo with a group of professional

in the cities and surrounding
countryside of Japan, Taiwan,
;he Chilippihes. and also Hong
Kong, Singapore and Bangkok,
Thailand. Oh the way home, the musicians
stopped off in Hawaii for
ten days. They paid short visits
:o each of three of the neighboring
lislands (Kauai, Mauai, to Kona and Hilo on.the island of
Hawaii), and spent the remaining
days of thiT^acation on
Waikiki Beach, Honolulu,
As in years past, Miss Mcintosh
spent tiie month preceding
the tour at Ashford Chace, Hampshire,
England. She again studied
piano at . The Manor House,
Buriton, with the Matthay Group
of pianists, several of whom return
each ^ummer, under the direction
of benlse Lassimonne,
Mrs. Bannerman, too, was in England
visiting friends, during the
month of July.
